Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

There are studies presented as supporting information. These studies were carried out according to standardised guidelines in line with GLP. All were awarded a reliability rating of 1 in accordance with the criteria of Klimisch, 1997.
One assesses the test material in a rat prostate androgen receptor competitive binding assay; the other assesses it in a rat uterine estrogen receptor competitive binding assay.
In Vitro Results
The androgen receptor binding assay classified the test material as a binder. However, although it was classified as a binder, the test material was only an effective inhibitor of the reference androgen when present in 60,000-fold excess versus the radiolabelled ligand. The biological relevance of the test material’s classification as an AR binder therefore remains unknown.
The estrogen receptor binding assay found that the test material competed with ligand binding beginning at a concentration of ca. 10^-7 M and
demonstrated complete inhibition of radioligand binding by 10^-5 M. Therefore the test material was considered interactive with the ER. The mean inter-day
IC50 was approximately 1100 nM.
