No studies investigating the adsorption/desorption behaviour of isopropyl oleate (CAS No. 112-11-8) are currently available. Using KOCWIN Program (v2.00), log Koc values of 5.79 and 5.12 were calculated, based on log Kow and on molecular connectivity index (MCI), respectively. The substance fits into the training set of the MCI method, but the log Kow is too high compared to the training set of the log Kow method. The assessment is therefore based on the MCI method. Based on the results, the adsorption potential of isopropyl oleate is high.
