First-aid measures

If inhaled Move to fresh air. Call a physician if symptoms develop or persist.

If on skin Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.

If in eyes Rinse with water. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.

If swallowed Call a physician or poison control center immediately. Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting

without advice from poison control center. If vomiting occurs, keep head low so that stomach

content doesn't get into the lungs. Do not use mouth-to-mouth method if victim ingested the

Protection of first-aid

responders

Ensure that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved, and take precautions to

protect themselves. In the case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately

(show the label where possible).

Notes to physician Provide general supportive measures and treat symptomatically. In case of shortness of breath,

give oxygen. Keep victim warm. Keep victim under observation. Symptoms may be delayed.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media Powder. Water. Water spray. Foam. Carbon dioxide (CO2).

Extinguishing media to avoid None known.

Special fire fighting procedures In the event of fire, cool tanks with water spray. Water runoff can cause environmental damage.

Protection of fire-fighters Wear suitable protective equipment.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency measures

Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained. Immediately

evacuate personnel to safe areas. Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak. Wear

appropriate personal protective equipment. Ventilate closed spaces before entering them.

Environmental precautions Avoid release to the environment. Contact local authorities in case of spillage to drain/aquatic

environment. Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Avoid discharge into drains,

water courses or onto the ground. Do not contaminate water.

Clean-up methods andmaterials and containment measures

Stop the flow of material, if this is without risk. Collect spillage. Prevent product from entering

drains. Following product recovery, flush area with water. For waste disposal, see section 13 of

the MSDS.
