Basis for effect:
growth rate

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The EC50 (growth rate) was higher than 100 mg/L. No inhibitory effects were observed up to the highest concentration tested.
Executive summary:

The algae Desmodesmus subspicatus were incubated in a limit test with the test material over a period of 72 h. The test concentrations were 1, 10 and 100 mg/L. No inhibitory effects on growth rat were observed. Thus, the NOEC and the EC50 are higher than 100 mg/L.
