The evaluation of the data was performed using the software STARe. As result, a thermogram was obtained in which the heat flow of the investigated sample is given as a function of the temperature.

On the thermograms freezing of the test item was indicated by a glass transition. Using a linear heating rate of 0.5 °C/min the freezing point of the test item was determined to be -31.19 °C (242.0 K). The result is the mean of two measurements.

Conclusions:
The freezing point of the test item was determined to be -31.19 °C.
Executive summary:

An experimental study was conducted according to Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 Method A.1. and OECD Test Guidelines 102 to determine the freezing point of the test item using differential scanning calorimetry. The test item was cooled from 60 °C to -40 °C with a 0.5 °C/min cooling rate und nitrogen atmosphere. The experiment was conducted in duplicate. The freezing point of the test item was determined to be -31.19 °C.

Description of key information

The freezing point of the test item was determined to be -31.19 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
-31.19 °C
