Reference
Endpoint:
water solubility
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
28 March 1996 to 21 May 1996
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
yes
Type of method:
column elution method
Specific details on test material used for the study:
- Purity: Molybdenum concentration of 10%
- Description: Brown, extremely viscous liquid
Key result
Water solubility:
< 0.001 g/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
5.4
Details on results:
The protocol states that the equilibration is defined by five successive samples, whose concentrations do not differ by more than +- 30%, and that a second run is performed. For this study, the measurements made were below the analytical detection limit. Calculations were associated with the establishment of equilibration were therefore not performed (i.e. mean and standard deviation).
Conclusions:
The water solublity of the test material has been determined to be less than 1x10E-3 g/L at 20 deg. C.
Executive summary:

The water solubility of the test material was conducted in a study performed to the standardized guideline OECD 105 under GLP conditions and has been determined to be less than 1x10E-3 g/L at 20 deg. C.
