No pressure rise time was obtained with the test item / cellulose mixture. The pressure did not rise Patm + 2070 kPa.

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
No pressure rise time was obtained with the test item / cellulose mixture. The pressure did not rise Patm + 2070 kPa.
The test item was not classified as an oxidising liquid of Division 5.1 and not classified following EC No. 1272/2008 (CLP) under the experimental conditions used.
Executive summary:

In this study, the test item was tested for oxidizing properties in compliance with United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods - Manual of Tests and Criteria - Fifth revised edition (2009) - Method O.2 (Part III, Section 34.4.2) and under GLP conditions.

As a result, no pressure rise time was obtained with the test item / cellulose mixture. The pressure did not rise Patm + 2070 kPa.

Description of key information

One reliable study is available. This study was performed according to the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods - Manual of Tests and Criteria - Fifth revised edition (2009) - Method O.2 (Part III, Section 34.4.2) and under GLP conditions.

In all the performed assays with the N1 SOLVENT / cellulose mixture, the pressure did not rise Patm + 2070 kPa.

It was determined that the N1 SOLVENT has no oxidizing properties.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
non oxidising

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to the results of the O2 method test for the oxydising liquids, N1 SOLVENT is not classified as an oxidising liquid of Division 5.1 and not classified according to EC No. 1272/2008 (CLP).
