Additional information

Key study: experimental result from a study report, performed by analysis, according EU Method A.6 and OECD guideline 105.

It was not possible to determine the water solubility more precisely, using the flask method or the column elution method, because the test substance rapidly degrades at 20 °C.

An estimation by checking the solutions visually for undissolved particles was not possible, as the dissolved test substance degrades to insoluble zirconium oxide. Due to the element zirconium in the structure of the test substance a calculation of the water solubility using an atom/fragment contribution method (software Wskowin Version v1.41©2000, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) could not be performed.

It is concluded that the water solubility of the test substance at 20 °C is estimated to be ca. 1 mg/L.
