- Suitable extinguishing media : Powder. Water spray. Carbon dioxide.

- Unsuitable extinguishing media : Water jet

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture

Under fire conditions, hazardous fumes will be present. On exposure to high temperature, may decompose, releasing toxic gases. (CO, CO2, NOx, HCl).

Advice for fire-fighters

Use self-contained breathing apparatus when in close proximity to fire.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not breathe dust.

Environmental precautions:

Avoid dust production. Do not empty into drains.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:

Collect spills and put it into appropriated container. Avoid raising powdered material due to explosion hazard. Comply with

local regulations for disposal.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling:

- Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

- When using, do not eat, drink or smoke.

- Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eat, drink or smoke and when leaving work.
