Additional information

As the partition coefficient of DBPP is reasonably high (Log Kow > 3), the bioaccumulative potential of DBPP was further investigated. Consequently, the potential to bioaccumulate was evaluated for aquatic organisms (fish) (Koboyashi, 2010). More specifically, a bioconcentration study with DBPP and Carp was conducted according to OECD 305E guideline 'Bioconcentration: Flow-Through Fish Test'. The test results indicated that the BCF (at steady state) was 35 and therefore it can be concluded that DBPP does not have the potential to bioaccumulate in aquatic organisms.
