Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The octanol/water partition coefficient of the test material was determined in accordance with standardised guidelines OECD 107, EU Method A.8 and EPA OPPTS 830.7550 using the shake flask method with buffered solutions. The partition coefficients of the test material at 25 °C were Pow 23 (± 1.0), 0.38 (± 0.015) and 0.023 (± 0.00064) for buffers solutions at pH 5 (citrate buffer), pH 7 (phosphate buffer) and pH 9.1 (borate buffer) respectively. The respective log Pow values were 1.4, -0.42 and -1.6.

The study was performed in compliance with GLP and to standardised guidelines with a high standard of reporting. The study was assigned a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the principles of assessing data quality outlined in Klimisch (1997), and as such was considered suitable for use as an accurate reflection of the test material.

The available data are considered to be complete and the result determined, log Pow 1.4, -0.42 and -1.6 at 25 °C and pH 5.0, pH 7.0 and pH 9.1 respectively, were taken forward for risk assessment.
