Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give
oxygen. Call a physician.
Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of
water for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician.
Emergency measure - Skin: In case of contact, immediately wash skin with soap and
water. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate chemical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: The substance is combustible and will burn if involved in a
fire, evolving noxious fumes (eg carbon and phosphorous
oxides).
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Full protective clothing and self-contained breathing
apparatus must be worn.
Fight the fire from a safe distance or protected location.
Accidental release measures
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment conforming to
the relevant national or international standards, as
mentioned in section 2.3.10.
Absorb spillages of solutions with a suitable inert material
(eg. sand or soil). Carefully transfer the spillage to waste
containers, or use a sealed industrial vacuum machine.
Containers filled with waste material must be labelled in
the same way as the original substance containers.
Clean the spillage area with detergent and water. Collect
the washings and dispose of as for waste material. Do not
direct washings to the drain.
Dispose of waste material in accordance with local
regulations by incineration.
Handling and storage
conditions of good industrial hygiene and in conformity with
any local regulations in order to avoid exposure.
Engineering controls are necessary to reduce exposure to the
substance.
When exposure cannot be prevented or adequately controlled
appropriate personal protective equipment should be worn.
Such protective equipment should conform to the appropriate
international or national standards as follows;
Chemical protective gloves to Standard EN374
Chemical protective clothing to Standard EN368
Eye protection to Standard EN166.
Furthermore, when respiratory protective equipment has to be
used, it must be capable of adequately controlling exposure,
be suitable for the purpose, and conform to the appropriate
international or national standards, such as a vapour
maskconforming to EN405 FFA1.
These measures should be regarded as a minimum.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place.
Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The preparation is shipped in a closed ISO tank to the use
site, where it is transferred to bulk storage.

Special provisions / remarks
- Remarks:
- Transport code: Provisionally classified as UN Class 3, Packing group II
Transport: Avoid crushing the containers. In the event of a spillage,
observe the warning labels on the container.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Stability and reactivity
Chemical reaction with water: None which is hazardous.
Dust explosion: Not applicable to the marketed preparation.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
minor spillages or accidental discharge is not economically
or technically feasible, and such waste material will be
disposed of by incineration. It is possible to recover
larger spillages of uncontaminated material for subsequent
use.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: No chemical treatment is practicable to neutralise the
hazardous properties.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Contaminated containers or spillages of solutions mixed with
inert material (eg. sand or soil) should not be disposed of
by landfill.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The substance can be disposed of by incineration by burning
under controlled conditions at a licensed waste treatment
processor in accordance with local regulations. Stack gases
should be scrubbed, because noxious fumes (eg. carbon and
phosphorus oxides) could be formed.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The substance should not normally be discharged directly to
the sewage system or the aqueous environment. However,
adverse effects on sewage treatment systems would be
unlikely.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable.
