Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Provide general supportive care. Seek
medical attention promptly.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the
eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention
promptly.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water removing
all contaminated clothes and shoes. Consult a physician.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Call a physician immediately. Never give anything by mouth
to an unconscious person. If a person vomits when lying on
their back, place them on their side. Provide general
supportive care.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Standard procedures for chemical fires. Suitable
extinguishing media: water, carbon dioxide or dry chemical
Product arising from burning: CO or CO2
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and full body
protective equipment.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Evacuate personnel to designated areas. Do not flush into
surface water or sanitary system. Do not let product enter
drains. Do not allow material to contaminate ground water
system. Avoid subsoil penetration. Remove all sources of
ignition. Control the generation of dust/vapors. Ensure
adequate ventilation. Sweep up and shovel into suitable
containers for disposal. Vaccum with HEPA-filtered and
explosion-proof equipment. Provide respiratory, skin and
eye protection to prevent overexposure.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid dust formation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and
clothing. Use with adequate ventilation. In case of
insufficient ventilation wear suitable respiratory
equipment. Wear suitable gloves and safety glasses with
side shields. If there is potential for contact, where
protective clothing for exposed areas of skin. Remove and
wash contaminated clothing before re-use. Wash thoroughly
after handling. Do not breathe dust.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed. Keep in a well-ventilated
place.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Double polyethylene bags inside a fibre drum (5, 10 and 20
kgs).
