Description of key information

Stability

The test item has a low water solubility. A hydrolysis study was technically not feasible. Howerver, in regards to the aquatic todxicity studies, a rapid hydrolisis of the test item leading to two metabolites was obeserved.

Biodegradation

In two screening tests (OECD TG 301 B), on with the test item one with a strcutral analogue showed mineralisation rates ranging from 30 % - 40 %. Therefore, it has to be stated, that the test item is not readily biodegradable.

Bioaccumulation

There are no experimantal data available regarding the bioaccumulative properties of the test item. Howerver, there are QSAR results available. Several modells did not predict any concern and showed no potential for bioaccumulation. The predicted BCF values are well below 100.

Transport and distribution

Adsorbrtion to solid phase is expected.
