Conclusions:
The log Pow was found to be 1.4 at 25 °C.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted according to OECD Guideline 107 using the Shake Flask method. The partition coefficient (Pow) of the test item between n-octanol and water was determined by different volume of solvents and twice extraction. The mean Pow was determined to 25.3. Consequently, the log Pow is 1.4 at 25 °C.

Description of key information

Additional information

A study was conducted according to OECD Guideline 107 using the Shake Flask method. The partition coefficient (Pow) of the test item between n-octanol and water was determined by different volume of solvents and twice extraction. The mean Pow was determined to 25.3. Consequently, the log Pow is 1.4 at 25 °C.

Furthermore, an older study is available. In this study according to OECD Guideline 107 (1981) the octanol/water partition coefficient was determined to be 25.1 at 25 °C and pH values of 5, 6 and 7. This values corresponds to a log Pow of 1.4.
