Conclusions:
The water solubility of C12-18 alkyldimethyl ammonium chloride was determined to be <1.25 mg/L (turbidity method).
Executive summary:

The water solubility of C12-18 alkyldimethyl ammonium chloride was determined by turbidity measurements and visual examination according the OECD Test Guideline 105 and EU method A.6.

In a preliminary test separation of the test item from the aqueous phase by centrifugation or filtration was not possible. Therefore, the main test, where separation of the test substance from the aqueous phase is necessary, was not performed. Alternatively, solutions with defined nominal concentrations were prepared and tested for turbidity.

The water solubility of C12-18 alkyldimethyl ammonium chloride was determined to be <1.25 mg/L at 23°C.
