Conclusions:
The surface tension of a 1 g/L dilution of the test substance in water was determined to be 63.1 mN/m at 20.1°C.
Executive summary:

The aim of the study was the determination of the surface tension of the test item in water at 20 °C ± 0.5 °C according to EC method A.5 and OECD 115 using ring method. The test was performed twice. The surface tension of a 1 g/L dilution of the test substance in water was determined to be 63.1 mN/m at 20.1°C. The susbtance is not considered to be surface active.

Description of key information

The surface tension of the test item in water at 20 °C ± 0.5 °C was determined according to EC method A.5 and OECD 115 using ring method. The test was performed twice. The surface tension of a 1 g/L dilution of the test substance in water was determined to be 63.1 mN/m at 20.1°C. It is concluded that the substance is not a surface active substance.
