Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Drink 1-2 glasses of water, seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, dry powder or carbon dioxide are suitable

extinguishing agents.

Product arising from burning: Combustion products may contain carbon and nitrogen oxides

together with some soot.

Protective equipment: Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and protective

clothing.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Sweep up spilt substance and place in suitable containers

for disposal by incineration at an approved facility.

Handling and storage

Handling: Wear safety glasses or eye protection. For prolonged

operations, gloves should be worn.

Local exhaust ventilation should be sufficient. Additional

ventilation or respiratory protection may be needed in

special cases.

Storage: Keep from contact with strong oxidizing materials.

Store in a cool place.

Danger other than fire: In sufficient quantities, the substance is capable of

creating a dust explosion.

Chemical reaction with water: The substance hydrolyses completely in 48 hours.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery for reuse is not feasible.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable, no known hazardous effects.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended method. An approved facility operating at a

temperature of at least 1000 deg C with waste gas treatment

to remove nitrogen oxides should be used. (A665)

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended, the substance would probably not be

destroyed in water purification systems.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain.
