Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Any other information on results incl. tables

If the burning time in the preliminary screening test is less than 4 minutes (40 minutes for metal powders), over a 200 mm distance, then the full range of burning rate tests are carried out unless no propagation is observed, otherwise no further testing is required.

Powders are to be considered, as highly flammable, when the time of burning in one of the six tests carried out according to the test procedure described is less than 45 seconds. Powders of metals or metal alloys are considered to be highly flammable when they can be ignited and the flame of the zone of reaction spreads over the whole sample in ten minutes or less.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
The following flammability of solids (A10) result was obtained: Not highly flammable
The sample melted, no sparks or flaming was observed.
