Study technically not feasible. Using KOWWIN v1.48 the log Pow of the test item was calculated to be 0.28.

Additional information

In accordance to section 2 of REACH Annex XI, the test does not have to be performed when a substance reacts violently during the performance of the test. The substance reacts when in contact with glass and bonds to silanol groups. Therefore, no standardised test methods for determining the partition coefficient are suitable. Thus, the study is technically not feasible.

The logPow was calculated using KOWWIN v1.68 as part of EPISuite v4.11 from US Environmental Protection Agency.

Using KOWWIN v1.68 the log Kow of the test item was calculated to be 0.28 at 25 °C (EPI Suite, 2014).

Additionally, publications reporting the log Pow values of the constituents of the test item were used as supporting information.
