Administrative data
First-aid measures
General Information
Remove victim immediately from source of exposure. General first aid, rest, warmth and fresh air.
Inhalation.
Remove to fresh air and keep patient at rest. If necessary obtain medical advice.
Ingestion
Allow the patient to vomit on his own accord. Give copious amounts of water to drink and seek medical advice.
Skin Contact
Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. Get medical attention promptly if symptoms occur after washing.
Eye Contact
Immediately flush with plenty of water for up to 15 minutes. Remove any contact lenses and open eyes wide apart. Get medical attention promptly if symptoms occur after washing.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing Media
Use fire-extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding materials. Extinguish with foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder or water fog.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Hazardous Combustion Products
Thermal decomposition or combustion may liberate carbon oxides and other toxic gases or vapours.
Advice for firefighters
Special Fire Fighting Procedures
Keep run-off water out of sewers and water sources. Dike for water control.
Protective Measures In Fire
Self contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Wear protective clothing as described in Section 8 of this safety data sheet.
Environmental precautions
Do not discharge into drains, water courses or onto the ground; if this occurs inform the relevant water authority at once.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Sweep up into tightly closable containers. Label container and dispose of as hazardous waste.
Reference to other sections
For personal protection, see section 8. For waste disposal, see section 13.
Handling and storage
Store in tightly closed container in a dry, cool and well ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Protective Equipment
Engineering Measures
If enclosed handling cannot be guaranteed, ventilation and protective clothing must be used.
Respiratory Equipment
Wear dust masks or air fed equipment (if ventilation is insufficient).
Hand Protection
Use protective gloves made of: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Eye Protection
Wear approved safety goggles.
Other Protection
Protective overalls
Hygiene Measures
Remove contaminated clothing and wash the skin thoroughly with soap and water after work.
Personal Protection
Avoid inhalation, and contact with skin, eye and clothing.
Stability and reactivity
Stable under normal temperature conditions.
Materials To Avoid
Strong oxidising substances.
Thermal decomposition or combustion may liberate carbon oxides and other toxic gases or vapours.
Disposal considerations
General Information
Waste is classified as hazardous waste. Disposal to licensed waste disposal site in accordance with national and local authority
regulations.
Waste treatment methods
Dispose of waste in accordance with national and local authority requirements.
