Description of key information

All studies to assess the aquatic toxicity of the test substance were reliable and conducted according to OECD guidelines. In the acute toxicity studies no effects were observed for all three trophic levels up to the highest recommended concentration (nominal concentration of 100 mg/L). Also, no effects of the test substance on fish were observed in a long-term toxicity study up to the highest tested concentration (120 mg/L). Effects of the test substance on reproductivity of Daphnia magna was observed in a long-term toxicity study above a concentration of 10 mg/L.
