Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Effect concentrations
Key result
Duration:
96 h
Dose descriptor:
LC50
Effect conc.:
> 0.02 - <= 0.05 mg/L
Nominal / measured:
meas. (not specified)
Basis for effect:
mortality (fish)
Details on results:
Various results were obtained under various conditions, see screen capture attached. Only the two worst-case results are summarized here:
LC50 > 0.02mg/L in fish weighing 1.4g and LC50= 0.05 mg/L (range 0.038-0.066) in smaller fish weighing 0.8g.
The NOEC value was not indicated.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test item, when tested in freshwater by flow-through during 96h, induced short term toxicity to Oncorhynchus mykiss: LC50 > 0.02mg/L in fish weighing 1.4g and LC50= 0.05 mg/L (range 0.038-0.066) in smaller fish weighing 0.8g.
The NOEC value was not indicated, but based on the mortality dose-response it may be assumed to range 0.01-0.038 mg/L.
