First-aid measures

GENERAL: Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show label where possible).
INHALATION: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Allow victim to breathe fresh air. Allow the victim to rest. Get medical attantion.
SKIN CONTACT: Remove affected clothing and wash all exposed skin area with mild soap and water. Discard contaminated leather products (shoes). Get medicay attention if symptoms persist.
EYE CONTACT: Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Obtain medical attention if pain, blinking or redness persists.
INGESTION: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Obtain immediate medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Dry chemical powder, Foam, Dry powder, Carbon dioxide, Water spray, Sand.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread the fire.
Hazardous decomposition products in case of fire: Toxic fumes may be released.
Firefighting instructions: Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers. Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire. Prevent fire-fighting water from entering environment.
Protection during firefighting: Wear proper protective equipment; complete protective clothing and respiratory protection (self-contained breathing apparatus).

Accidental release measures

PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS, PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES: Evacuate surrounding areas. Ensure adequate ventilation. Keep unnecessary and unprotected personnel from entering. Do not breathe vapor/spray. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS: Do not release into the environment. Notify authorities of product entering sewers or public waters.
METHODS AND MATERIALS FOR CONTAINMENT AND CLEANING UP: Avoid dust or aerosol formation. Place in covered containers using non-sparking tools and transport outdoors. Dispose of in accordance with current laws and regulations. Do not release into the environment.

Handling and storage

PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING: Avoid contact with the eyes, skin and clothing. Wear protective clothing and safety goggles or face shield. Wash hands and other exposed area's before eating, drinking or smoking and when leaving work. Observe the rules of safety and hygiene at work. Clean equipment and work area regularly. Minimise number of staff exposed. Avoid contact with contaminated tools/equipment. Train staff on good practice. Have management supervision in place to ensure that PPE are used correctly.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Keep only in original container in a cool, well-ventilated place away from heat sources. Keep container closed when not in use.
INCOMPATIBLE PRODUCTS: Strong bases. Strong acids.
INCOMPATIBLE MATERIALS: Sources of ignition. Direct sunlight.
