Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test substance is with high probability not acutely harmful to aquatic invertebrates.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A GLP guideline according OECD 202 has been conducted (Smithers Viscient 2018). Daphnia magna have been exposed to the test substance for 48 h. Due to the volatile nature of the test substance, the test vessels were completely filled and sealed to prevent the loss of test substance through potential volatility. Analytical monitoring of the test substance has been conducted. The chemical analysis showed a decline in concentration over the 48 hour test period. As the decline in concentration was greater than 20 % from the nominal concentration, results were based on geometric mean measured concentrations. After 48 h the LOEC and the EC50 were determined to be > 117 mg/L (measured). The NOEC was determined to be >= 117 mg/L. Therefore, the test substance is with high probability not acutely harmful to aquatic invertebrates.
