Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Short-term toxicity to fish

The test material does not possess acute toxic potential to fish up to the limit of solubility in water. The LC50 of the test material exceeds >100 mg/L (nominal) and is clearly above the limit of water solubility.

Long-term toxicity to fish

The test material showed no toxic potential at concentrations at or above the water solubility. The NOEC was >= 0.0003 mg/L and thus higher than the limit of water solubility.

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

An aqueous solution of nominal 100 mg/L of the test item revealed no aquatic toxicity in the test system. The 48-hour EC50 for Daphnia magna exceeded the maximum solubility of the test material in reconstituted water and thus, could not be determined in this test.

Toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria

The source substance of this read across revealed no toxic effect on the growth of algae after 72 h at a nominal concentration of 100.0 mg/L. Analytically, the 72 hours EC50 to algae could not be determined; it exceeded the maximum solubility of the test material in reconstituted water.
