Additional information

Inorganic, complex metal containing UVCB substance.

The studied three (3) representative cupro samples contain 24.7- 68% copper, 5.8- 12.4% nickel, 0.8- 18.7% lead, 2.1- 8.9% iron, 2.2- 4.1% tin and 12.3- 17.1% silicon and consist mainly of copper-, iron- and nickelsilicides.

Mineralogical composition of sample 09TT02932 (= oxidic fraction) is 52.1% coppersilicide, 17.7% ferrisilicide, 11.9% copper aluminium alloys and 11.2% nickelsilicide with accessory nickel alloys, metallic tin and lead, while sample 09TT02933 (= metallic fraction) consist 24.6% ferrisilicide, 20.5% nickel silicide, 18.4% lead, 10.9% copper tin alloys and 10% metallic copper. Sample 09TT05024 (= metallic fraction of material high in Al) consist 49.5% coppersilicide, 26.7% copper aluminium alloys, 15.6% nickelsilicide with accessory copper tin alloys, ferrisilicide and metallic lead.

This mineralogical information confirmed that the substance do not contain groups associated with explosivity.
