- the study does not need to be conducted because the melting point is above 300°C
- Justification for type of information:
- In accordance with the Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European parliament and of the council on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), annex VII standard information requirements for substances manufactured or imported in quantities of 1 tonne or more, chapter 7, column 2, 7.5. vapour pressure the experimental study was not needed to be conducted if the melting point is above 300 °C. The reported test data of the melting point study showed that the solid test item has no melting point up to 400°C. Therefore, according to the regulation cited above the determination of the vapour pressure has not to be performed.
