The test substance is a white to off white powder with a melting point of 166.42 °C, a boiling point of 356.41 °C and a density of 0.6243 g/cm3 (McLean, 2012a).The mean mass percent particle size distribution was determined to be 186 μm (McLean, 2012b).The vapour pressure was estimated to be 4.38E-06 Pa (McLean, 2012c), the octanol-water partition coefficient (log Pow) was 4.51 at pH 7 (Grenier, 2012) and the water solubility was 3.17 mg/L at 20 °C (van Hoven, 2008).

The substance is not flammable and its autoignition temperature is > 400 °C (McLean, 2012c). Explosive and oxidising properties are not expected.
