Any other information on results incl. tables

The results of test 1 and 2 were evaluated, because they fulfill the criteria of repeatability (deviation +-2 deg C calculated from the mean value).

The mean flash point temperature was calculated, whereafter the flash point was corrected for the atmospheric pressure in accordance with ASTM Directive D 93 -85.

Corrected flash point - C + 0.25 (101.3 - p), where C = mean observed flash point in degrees C and p = ambient barometric pressure (kPa).

Corrected flash point = 140 + 0.25 (101.3 - 101.9) deg C = 140 deg C

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
A flash point of 140 deg C was determined for Stepan TAB-2, using the closed cup method, and according to EU Method A.9.
Executive summary:

A flash point of 140 deg C was determined for Stepan TAB-2, using the closed cup method, and according to EU Method A.9.
