Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The key value was derived from a study performed under GLP conditions and according to OECD 202. No immobilisation was observed throughout the study resulting in an 48-h EC50 for Daphnia magna of > 100 mg test item/L

Additional information

The acute toxicity of the substance to the water flea Daphnia magna was investigated in a 48-hour static test (Parr, 2014) according to the OECD 202 guideline. This study was considered as key study for the PNEC derivation (K-score is 1). Daphnia magna were exposed to 100 mg/L of test substance during 48 hours. Analysis of the 100 mg/L test preparation at 0 and 48 hours showed measured concentrations of 97% and 95% of the nominal value respectively, so the results are based on nominal test concentrations. The results showed an 48-h EC50 >100 mg/L.
