Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

The particle size distribution of 2,2-Bis[[3-(dodecylthio)-1-oxopropoxy]methyl]propane-1,3-diyl bis[3-(dodecylthio)propionate] was determined by sieving. The results are given in the table. In the receiver pan (i.e. the fraction < 100 μm), 0.3% test item was collected.

Conclusions:
In the receiver pan (i.e. the fraction < 100 μm), 0.3% test item was collected.
Executive summary:

The purpose of the study was to obtain a quantitative determination of the particle size distribution of the test item.

The method is based on the determination of the fractions test item of different particle size, obtained by leading a sample through a sequence of sieves with different mesh sizes.

The interval of the mesh size in which at least 80% of the test item is collected will be determined.
