Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Very unlikely to be transported and redistributed within the environment due to poor water solubility and lack of volatility

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:
1 000 000

Additional information

The substance is very unlikely to be transported and redistributed within the environment due to poor water solubility and lack of volatility, as only minimal amounts of the substance could be dissolved. Moreover, Practical testing according to EC Method C19 / OECD TG 121 was concluded to be not feasible as the test item showing surface active properties. Test guidance indicates that the HPLC estimation method is not applicable for surface active substances. The QSAR calculation of the component Triolein, di-maleated shows that the substance has a high potential for sorption (ca 14.38 @ 25 °C). In the EUSES model the maximum value for logKoc is set at 6, which is the value that still leads to reliable exposure estimations. In a worst case approach this value will be used

[LogKoc: 6.0]
