Remarks on result:
other: 10 day window requirement met
Details on results:
Achieved the requirements for Ready Biodegradability by the OECD 301F standard. Achieved a biodegradation plateau by day 28 of the test
period. By curve fit analysis, the achieved plateau was 99% ThO2 +/- SE 10%. the required degradation within the 10-day window was achieved.
OECD 301 ultimate degradation requirement achieved; 60% by day 19

BOD5 / COD results

Results with reference substance:
OECD 301 requirements achieved for sodium acetate; 10 day window (day 3 to day 12)
At 28 days

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Interpretation of results:
readily biodegradable
Conclusions:
Test material was readily biodegradable according to results of OECD 301F study.
Executive summary:

Myralene was tested via OECD 301F. Sodium acetate was also tested as a control. The inoculum used was surface water. 60% ThOD biodegradation was achieved by day 19 and within the requisite 10 day window. After 28 days, 99% ThOD was acheived. Test material was readily biodegradable according to results of OECD 301F study.
