Description of key information

If released to the atmosphere, vapour phase DMT[EHTG] will be degraded by photochemically induced hydroxyl radicals, with a half-life of ca. 13.3 hrs. A Henry’s Law constant of 5.3E-04 predicts that DMT[EHTG] will volatilise moderately from surface water; half-lives from a model river or lake are 5 hours and 10.5 days, respectively. Based on Level III distribution modelling it is estimated that the majority of DMT[EHTG] released to the environment will partition into soil (75.2%) and water (18.9 %), with a smaller amount in sediment (5.25%).
