Additional information

The Rice University (researchers Curtis and Ward) has researched the acute toxicity of 40 different potential water contaminants including sulphamidic acid to fish by the method similar to the OECD Testing Guideline 203, in which the 96h-LC50 of sulphamidic acid to fish was found to be 70.3 mg/L. This finding is supported by a study investigating the toxicity of sulfamic acid towards bluegill sunfish (A. Schleier, 1963), resulting in a LC50 of 86.5 mg/L at 48 hours exposure.
