Additional information

The adsorption/desorption potential of the test substance was evaluated by calculation using the calculation model KOCWIN v2.0. The calculation resulted in a Koc of 8.06 (log Koc = 0.91). Based on this log Koc the test substance is not expected to adsorb to soil.

The Henry's law constant (HLC) of the test substance was evaluated by calculation using the calculation model HENRYWIN 3.20. The HLC was determined to be 0.249 Pa*m3/mol. Therefore, the test item is not expected to evaporate into the air from the water surface.

Considering the distribution of the test item in the environment several calculations were performed. In a Mackay Level I calculation the test item was determined to distribute mainly into the compartment water.

Mackay Level III calculations were also performe dtaking into account different entry paths of the test item. When introducing the compound into water, it remains to an extent of 99.9% in the water. Introduced into air the calculation results in a partitioning of 44.2% in air, 21.2% in water and 34.6% distribute into soil. Finally, if the test item is released to soil, the main part remains in soil (65.5%) and 34.3% distribute into surface water.
