Hydrolysis: Data waiving (other justification): In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex VIII, the study does not need to be conducted since the substance is readily biodegradable.

Biodegradation:

Biodegradation in water: screening tests: Key study: Test method OECD 301C. No data on GLP. The test item 2 -methylcyclohexyl acetate was determined to be readily biodegradable.

Biodegradation in water and sediment: simulation tests: Data waiving (other justification): In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the study does not need to be conducted since the substance is readily biodegradable.

Biodegradation in soil: Data waiving (other justification): In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the study does not need to be conducted since the substance is readily biodegradable.

Transport and distribution:

Adsorption/desorption: Data waiving (other justification): In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex VIII, the study does not need to be conducted since the substance is expected to have a low potential for adsorption (log pow <3).
