Identity and concentration of auxiliary solvent for dispersal: Test solutions were stirred for 73 hours with short periods of ultrasonication prior to addition of the algal inoculum.

Water hardness = Standard test medium used

The analytical results indicate that the test concentration
of BEM 4522 used in this study was at, or close to, the
limit of solubility.  Measured concentrations in the
centrifuged samples were 0.067 and <0.036 mg/l at 0 and 72
hours.

Mean measured concentrations in non-centrifuged samples were
9.3mg/l at 0h and 2.7mg/l at 72h.
