Description of key information

Key study skin sensitisation: Harrison (1981), HRIPT. Negative (not sensitising)

Additional information

The sensitisation of the test material was investigated in humans. A total of 40 human volunteers were exposed to test material using the repeat insult patch method. Under the conditions of the test the test material was determined to be not sensitising as no reactions were observed in any of the exposed volunteers. The study was performed to sound scientific principles and was assigned a reliability score of 2 in accordance with Klimisch (1997).
