Conclusion on classification

In accordance with the criteria for classification as defined in Annex I, Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, Propargite is classified as Aquatic acute 1 (H400: Very toxic to aquatic life) and Aquatic chronic 1 (H410: Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects) on the basis of its high toxicity to aquatic organisms, its high octanol-water partition coefficient and its lack of ready biodegradability.
