ECHA's Guidance on Information Requirements and Chemical Safety Assessment, Chapter R.11: PBT Assessment (2008d), page 12, states that “The PBT and vPvB criteria of Annex XIII to the Regulation do not apply to inorganic substances. Tungstic acid (EC name: dihydrogen wolframate) is an inorganic substance, and therefore the PBT and vPvB assessment is not required.
