Experimental data from study report.

Based on the studies summarized in the above table for the target substance disodium 6-hydroxy-5-[(4-sulphonatophenyl)azo]naphthalene-2-sulphonate and the read across substance, the endpoint value was found to vary between LC50 = 165 mg/L to > 10000 mg/L in a 96 hrs.,at 72 hrs. LC50 = >1000 mg/L and at 48 hrs. LC50 =200 mg/L; on the basis of mortality effect. Based on the above weight of evidence values, the substance it is concluded that the test substance dose not qualifies for the aquatic toxicity.

Long-term toxicity to fish

According to column I of annex IX, Long-term toxicity testing on fish need not to be conducted as it is already provide as part of Annex VIII requirements. Therefore this study was considered to be waived.
