Irritant / corrosive response data:
1 h after exposure, all 3 animals showed redness of the conjunctivae, which disappeared within 24 h. Adverse effects on the cornea and the iris were not observed. Treatment with fluorescein 24 h after instillation of the test substance did not reveal any epithelial damage.
Other effects:
No signs of systemic toxicity were observed in any of the animals.
