Conclusions:
The test substance shows no melting point in the temperature range 25-400 °C, only an exothermic decomposition beginning at 170 °C.

Executive summary:

The purpose of the test was the determination of the melting point according to Guideline 92/69/EEC part A.1. melting point/melting range. The determination of the melting point is carried out by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Study conducted in compliance with GLP.

The determination of the melting point and the screening test for explosive properties by DSC, Mettler-Toledo TA8000, were carried out in closed glass pan and in aluminium pan. The measurement in a closed glass pan does not show any endothermic effect prior a decomposition of the test substance in the range 170-235 °C, with a decomposition energy of 330 J/g. In an aluminium pan the diagram shows a broad exothermal decomposition in the range 180-335 °C; with a decomposition energy of 570 J/g.
