The partition coefficient for DTDP was determined as 13.5 at approximately 23 °C in a study performed according to national guideline ASTM-E1147 (Standard Test Method for Partition Coefficient (N-Octanol/Water) Estimation by Liquid Chromatography). According to USEPA estimation (using KOWWIN version 1.67, a subroutine of the computer program EPI SuiteTM version 4.00. Octanol / Water Partition Coefficient estimations performed by KOWWIN are based on an atom/fragment contribution method of W. Meylan and P. Howard) the partition coefficient for DTDP was calculated as 12.23.
