Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

An acute fish toxicity study according to OECD guideline 203 was conducted to determine the toxic potential of the compound towards Danio rerio. The test was conducted as limit test with a nominal test substance concentration of 100 mg/L. To solubilize the compound a vehicle was used. The highest vehicle concentration was 891 mg/L. Therefore, the fish were exposed to the test substance at concentrations far above its actual water solubility. Despite these worst case conditions, no toxic effects could be determined and the LC50 was determined as > 100 mg/L.
