Additional information

No toxicity to terrestrial organisms data are currently available with the registration substance. The substance is categorised as Soil Hazard Category 3 according to ECHA guidance (Chapter R.7c). A confirmatory long-term terrestrial test is therefore proposed. Algae were the least sensitive trophic level in the acute studies, therefore an earthworm reproduction study in accordance with OECD TG 222 is proposed.

In addition, a toxicity to terrestrial microorganisms study in accordance with OECD TG 216 is proposed.

Prior to terrestrial testing, dosing procedure and feasibility of testing may need to be examined due to the low solubility of the parent substance and potential for condensation reactions of the silanol HP.
