Additional information

As stated in section 5.2.1, reliable studies have shown that Alchisor TAL 111 is readily biodegradable in water based on evidence from studies for the analogue substance, Alchisor TAL 123, and constituent categories, C9 -C14 aliphatics (2 -25% aromatics). According to Annex IX Column 2 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 REACH concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals an absorption/desorption study does not need to be conducted if the substance and its relevant degradation products decompose rapidly.

Although distribution is not a mandatory information requirement, calculated data for representative constituent categories of Alchisor TAL 111 (C9 -C14 aliphatics (2 -25% aromatics)) are available.
