Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The partition coefficient (1-octanol / water) of the test item was at 40 °C and pH 7: log POW 2.3; POW 200.
Executive summary:

The partition coefficient (1-octanol/water) of AE 1302941 was determined according to the OECD guideline 117, EEC guideline 92/69/EEC A.8. and EPA Products Properties Guideline OPPTS 830.7570 (HPLC-method).

Nine calibration substances were injected into an HPLC-system under the same analytical conditions as the test item at 40 °C column temperature. Neutral calibration substances were used. Calibration curves were created by using the measured retention times (log k’-values) and the known log POW-values of the calibration substances for linear regression.

The measured log k’-values of the test item were within the calibrated log k’-range.

From the resulted calibration curves and their equations the log POW-value of the test item was interpolated.
